Rail Transit Industry

Testing Capacity Search >>

The rail transit industry mainly consists of railway industry and urban rail transit industry. The feasibility of rail transit depends on key factors such as reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. NMEI Center has comprehensive technical capabilities to carry out environmental and reliability testing, electromagnetic compatibility testing, hazardous substance testing, product safety testing, chemical analysis, failure analysis and preparation of test schedules, tooling design, modal analysis and product testing, etc. It can provide nation-wide one-stop service for rolling stock manufacturers and component suppliers, urban rail operators and railway bureaus, etc.

I. Environmental and Reliability Testing
Meeting the testing requirements of IEC, ISO, GB, GJB, EN, TB, EIA, ASTM, IPC, ISTA, JEDEC, SAE, JIS, MIL and other international, national and industry standards, NMEI Center provides one-stop testing services for rail transit enterprises including product technology R&D, design, finalization, sample production and mass production quality control.
Our scope of services covers vibration, shock, integrated environment test and protection test.

II. Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing
As a professional laboratory for rail transit equipment control and safety, it meets the international, national and industrial standards such as EN, IEC, GB/T, TB/Td and provides electromagnetic compatibility testing for type tests of electrical and electronic equipment in rail transit industry. Rail transit equipment includes electrical and electronic equipment (including spare parts and large samples) for rolling stock. Testing items includes radiation disturbance, conduction disturbance, ESD immunity, radio frequency electromagnetic field radiation immunity, Electrical fast transient/burst immunity, surge immunity, Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields, Power frequency magnetic field immunity, Voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations immunity, power supply voltage change, power supply overcurrent Pressure.

III. Electrical Equipment Testing

Testing for products such as breakers, switch cabinet, load switches, fuses, combined electrical appliance, etc. Test items include large-capacity test, insulation test, temperature-rising test, mechanical test, vibration test, swing test and salt-spray test, etc.

IV. Wire and Cable Testing

Tests of physical structure properties, electrical properties, mechanical properties, ageing and environmental resistance properties, transmission properties of communication cables and optical fibers, burning properties and material properties.

V. Material Properties and Performance Testing

Our MAT Lab offers testing service for automobiles and auto-parts manufactured from metallic, nonmetallic and composite materials. Our services mainly focus on mechanical performance testing, metallographic examination and microstructure analysis, physical properties testing, chemical analysis, corrosion resistance testing and hazardous substances testing.
