Material Analysis Laboratory is a professional basic laboratory specializing in testing metal materials, polymer materials and silicate materials, capable of one-stop full-component and full-performance metal material analysis. With a floor area of more than 2,000 square meters, it boasts advanced high-end equipment for mechanical property testing, physical property testing, chemical composition analysis and corrosion testing. MAT Lab is fitted with advanced equipment such as field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS).
I.Mechanical Properties and Performance Testing
Our MAT Lab offers to perform a wide variety of general mechanical and technical tests such as tensile and impact testing at room/ elevated/ low temperature, compression testing and bend testing, to determine the performance of metallic, nonmetallic or composite materials under certain use conditions.
II.Physical Properties and Performance Testing
Our MAT Lab can be trusted to carry out metallographic examination, thermal analysis, fracture morphology analysis, residual stress analysis, quantitative and semi-quantitative microanalysis, microstructure analysis, and Brinell/ Rockwell/ Vickers hardness test on different materials.
III.Chemical Analysis
With an extremely wide detection range from 10-13 to 100%, our MAT Lab provides elemental analysis that determines almost all major and trace elements in metallic and nonmetallic materials, except for the inert elements.
IV.Corrosion Analysis
Our corrosion testing can be performed partially or integrally on your sample material to determine the corrosion rate, polarisation resistance, open circuit potential, electrochemical noise, coating quality and bilayer quality.
