The electrical laboratory is jointly established by Qingdao NMEI Group and Xi’an High Voltage Electrical Equipment Institute Co., Ltd. With a total construction area of 14056 square meters, it can carry out large-capacity testing, high-voltage testing, mechanical testing and temperature-rise testing, comprehensive environmental testing of electrical products and provide technical services such as third-party testing, quality evaluation, arbitration testing.

I. Large-capacity Test

Type test for switch cabinets, breakers, fuses, etc of 40.5 kV and below.

II. Insulation Test

Power frequency voltage-withstand test for switchgears 40.5kv and below (dry and wet); Lightning impulse withstand voltage test; Partial discharging Test.

III. Temperature Rising Test

Temperature rising test below 10000A.

IV. Mechanical Endurance Testing

Mechanical testing according to the requirements of national standards and IEC standards.

V. Combined Environment Test

Salt fog test, contamination test, rain test, climate protection test, IP degree test, condensation test, vibration test, tilt and swing test and compound switching test of electrical products at voltage amplitudes of 40.5 kV under the conditions listed above.
