NMEI Center has the only comprehensive test platform for subsea equipment in China, which can provide systematic quality assurance for the development of China’s marine engineering equipment industry. It also has the country's first set of equipment to provide full-scale fatigue life tests for offshore engineering equipment. The 2000-ton dynamic tensile fatigue tester and 600-ton four-point bending fatigue tester can provide full-scale fatigue tests for oil and gas pipes of up to 40 inches in diameter. The complete set of sealing performance testing system that NMEI Center boasts can provide airtight and hydraulic testing services for subsea production systems at an air pressure of 210MPa and a water pressure of 600MPa. At the same time, soil mechanics test, wave-current coupling test, environmental simulation test, non-destructive test and marine comprehensive environmental performance test are also provided.
