NMEI Center is able to test and inspect MW-level photovoltaic converters and energy storage converters, automotive charging devices of over 500 kW as well as AC and DC charging spot. The new energy & power electronics test system can run low-voltage ride-through and anti-islanding performance tests with the capability for complete performance inspection of new energy & power electronic equipment, thereby enhancing the reliability of product application. New systems of 1MW DC power supply, 2MW Grid simulation source, partial discharge, protocol consistency are also installed for new energy automotive charging spot testing.

NMEI Center can provide testing for the following power electronic products such Variable-frequency drive of 1kV and below, A.C/D.C. charging spot, inverter, converter, SVC, SVG, APF, UPS, DC power supply, converter chain link And other power electronic products.

Testing items include functional inspection, Protocol consistency testing, Insulation test ,electrical performance testing (input overvoltage protection, low voltage ride through, efficiency, temperature rise test, output capacity in operating frequency range, constant reactive power control test, harmonic compensation control test, voltage imbalance test, load capacity test etc.)
